Jason Muccino - Owner & Founder

New Jersey Dog Pack was established in 2014 by Dog Behavior Specalist Jason Muccino. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University and has studied under the most sought after dog trainers in the world.

With the goal of bringing back a more natural approach of raising our dogs, Jason aims to help every dog owner in the world understand how to achieve a balanced, centered, and happy state of mind for their dogs.

Jason studies dog behavior and teaches people how to have a well behaved dog by understanding their fundamental needs and connecting with nature on a deeper and more instinctual level. He proudly started his business walking dogs in the suburbs of New Jersey while taking classes at Rutgers University. By understanding what the pack wanted from him, he was able to nurture a group of dogs that LOVED to follow and be around him!

The response from the local community was overwhelmingly positive. When his pack of Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Retrievers, Hounds, and Labs would calmly walk by, people started to ask “How are you walking all those dogs like that?” and “Can you show me how you do that?” Before He knew it, instead of acquiring more dogs for his pack walks, he was acquiring more and more people who were eager to learn Jason’s techniques for leading his pack of dogs.

Jason has always said, “I want more dogs to want to follow their owners.” This is the real sign of a healthy relationship and is why he has always promoted a well behaved dog by understanding dog psychology. Through positively fulfilling a dogs physical, mental, and emotional needs you can relieve the frustration, excitement, or anxiety that many dogs are dealing with on a daily basis. By educating people on how to raise a dog the right way, they will enjoy a happier, healthier and well behaved best friend.

New Jersey Dog Pack is Central New Jersey’s Headquarters For Dog Psychology & Behavior. If you would like to join our pack you can Book Now, we would love to help.

Vincent - Chief Operating Officer

Mentored by Jason since 2016, Vinny has spent the years studying dog psychology and turning his passion for helping others into a lifelong career. He is a Rutgers University graduate who studied Electrical and Computer Engineering. At the beginning of his studies he adopted his first dog, Xena, an integral part of the NJDP family. Vinny quickly realized the profound effects raising a well behaved dog had on his own life. By achieving balance and harmony with his best friend Xena, he was able to cultivate a healthier mindset for himself. He now aims to help others understand this positive relationship building with their dogs. He loves exercise and helping high energy dogs find the fulfillment they need.

Mariko - Pack Leader

Mariko grew up loving animals and the calm energy she always felt around them. She’s from Manalapan and has three perfect dogs of her own, Rhian, Kaiya and Jenni. She went to school for fashion and cosmetology, but realized her love for dogs could lead to a career. She is definitely the affection part of this pack and loves building a bond with each dog we get to train. Before meeting Jason, she thought “dog training” was your typical commands; sit, stay, paw, and basically don’t attack another dog. Never realizing you needed to understand dog psychology in order to have the well behaved dog everyone wants to have.

“There’s nothing like walking a pack of 10 dogs, all following behind you, to give you a rush of confidence. Since working with NJDP, I have appreciated all the knowledge, confidence, and experience I gain from each day, not only for the dogs we work with, but my own. Working with all these dogs, especially those who were deemed “untrainable”, has been so fulfilling for me, and I know the same for them.”
